When it snows, I always feel a kind of joy that is hard to explain. The excitement is in the beauty of snow but also in the unknown, meaning we're never quite sure how much it's going to snow. Sure the weathermen and women tell us one thing, but they are not always right and there's always hope that there will be so much snow that we will not be able to leave our dwellings. This video from the first snow fall in Philadelphia, captures the beauty, stillness and any other emotions I feel when it snows. Watch it once, watch it twice, it's like a perfectly crafted snowflake.
