Despite a piano player who was stuck on the G Train unable to make it to her first performance and a faulty video player, Aja Nisenson's one woman show, Piccola Cosi, now playing at the 2008 NY International Fringe Festival, is phenomenal. I know, I know, you think because I'm related I'm biased. But go see for yourself. It's an hour of pure entertainment. Click here for tickets.
I had a chance to go see Tropic Thunder with the movie crew over the weekend and it was pretty funny. Of course, Robert Downey Jr. steals the show but there were other great moments sprinkled in. It was an hour and 47 minutes of goofy fun.
What's with all of the ice cream flavors and brands now? The freezer section in most supermarkets can no longer hold all of the flavors and brands of ice cream because there are just so many. I noticed Edy's already has their fall pumpkin ice cream flavor out. I walked by the aisle long row of freezers filled with all of this ice cream and wondered, do people buy this stuff? Will there be a time when ice cream products reach a saturation point. They can't just keep on installing more freezers. The same thing goes for laundry detergents (how many scents do we need?), chips, cookies, salad dressings, sport drinks...the list goes on and on.
An Aussie mayor is urging all unatractive women to move into town. Let's put anotha shrimp on the barbie.
Remember I posted that Christian the Lion video awhile back? Well it turns out there is a very similar video on the net that has become popular recently because of those guys who pulled a stunt by claiming they had bigfoot.
