Happy Halloween

I have always enjoyed halloween. Give me a wig and a moustache and I'm happy. A wig and a moustache can instantly change you into a different person which is why I get such a kick out of them. I snapped a photo of this guy Sven on the way to work this morning. He's so photogenic. What are you dressing up as for Halloween? Doing anything fun?

David Letterman's production company, Worldwide Pants is currently working on an interesting documentary. I'm looking forward to seeing this one.

I just heard that a child playing with matches started the fires in CA. I think they are going to bring back a huge Smokey Bear campaign.

Well, I'm off to put on my moustache. Enjoy your Halloween..MWAHAHAHAHAAHAH

Oh My NOLA

As you know, this past weekend Elissa and I went to New Orleans to help celebrate the marriage of Liz and Brendan. It was an incredible affair and a weekend that will go down in history. If you haven't been to New Orleans, book a trip there...you won't be disappointed. You will fall in love with the city just as we did. There is something so magical about New Orleans, something one can't describe. You have to go experience it for yourself. The food, music, architecture, people, energy...everything is amazing. Does it seem like I had a good time? Well, I did. It was so great seeing Liz and Brendan so happy and in love. I can also now say that I second lined! I think we took over 300 photos while we were there and here are just a few that I selected to post.

Rainy Thursday

I've been trying to embed Boaz's interviews on this blog but it's not allowing me. So here's a link to his newly posted interview with Harry Shearer, a jack of all trades.

I just realized that it's almost November which means that a) Time to turn the clocks back and more importantly, b) it's almost National Novel Writing Month! That's right, time to put the pencil to the paper and start writing your novel. Go to the website and sign up. Boaz got me to try it last year and I kept it up for awhile but then fizzled out. Maybe I should try again this year?

This school in wakefield has banned Harry Potter books from its library because themes of witchcraft and sorcery were deemed innapropriate for a Catholic School. We all know however the real reason why the books were removed...Dumbledore's sexuality.

I never was able to get into Heroes when it started on NBC but I have been catching up by watching the episodes on DVD. They are quite good and I'm really enjoying watching them before I go to sleep. If you haven't seen them add them to your Netflix queue!

New Orleans Bound

Elissa and I are off to New Orleans on Friday morning and assuming there is no more rain in the forecast, it should be a good trip and the wedding will be a blast. I couldn't stop watching footage of the CA fires while I was at the gym last night. It's unbelievable. They had Maria Shriver on talking about the damage and while she spoke, all I could picture was Arnold in a tank top and a hose fighting the fires. Isn't that why they elected him? Mr. Last Action Hero. Let's pray that the fires will be put out soon.

I mentioned yesterday about the stinky Ginko trees. Well today on my way to work I noticed a group of Asian women collecting the fruit in bags. I wonder what they are going to do with all the Ginko?

You may notice that I sometimes come back to the topic of toilets on this blog. I apologize but I'm obsessed with toilets. The Japanese are at it again. This time, they have created a toilet for the car! That's right, no more peeing in bottles.

I drove the Lexus LS last night and I am in love. Want to buy me one? I thought you did.

Emptying Photos

Verizon is sending me a replacement phone so I wanted to empty some photos onto here to save them. You've seen a few of these but I don't believe you've seen the ones of the photo negatives Elissa found in a photo printer we bought at a garage sale. She started to pull out the negatives and they were of a bachelorette party. Naughty Naughty ladies.
